In order to help further the collaborations between our faculty members and their coauthors who are established scholars to support the publication of the coauthored papers in top journals, CTM is offering a fund of a total amount of NTD600,000 to up to 3 CTM faculty members’ coauthors whose travel is taking place throughout the year of 2021, from Jan. 1^st ~ Dec. 31^st.

The fund reimburses up to NTD 100,000 for business-class round-trip air tickets, as well as per diem of up to NTD100,000 for each recipient (based on the per diem standard table attached) .

The spring application result has been made, and one application was approved. According to the resolution by the College Council held on March 17, due to the pandemic the unused funding for two applicants allocated to 2020 is reserved for 2021, thus there will be 4 funds in total for the rest of the year.

To balance the timeliness and fairness, the committee will review applications on a rolling basis for 2 slots by August 31^st, 2021 (of which coauthors’ travel take place throughout the year of 2021, from Jan. 1st ~ Dec. 31st). On the other hand, we will also reserve at least 2 slots for the October round for fairness (i.e., we will have another formal announcement for the application with a deadline in early October).

1. Application Form (please type the content on the form - DO NOT send a handwritten form)
2. Draft of coauthored paper(s)
3. Evidence for paper progress (such as revision invitation from journal editors)
4. Explanations of invited coauthors’ achievements (CV)
5. Accurate estimates of airfare and per diem.
